Job Title:         Account Exec

Salary:            £20,000 – £23,000 full-time salary + bonuses

Location:        Brackley

Purpose

To manage and grow an existing book of Commercial client business whilst also identifying upsell and cross sell opportunities to ensure our customers are given the best advice possible. 

To have the drive & ability to work independently to create new contacts, establish a reputation for delivery top quality products constantly & grow the size of the Brackley Agency.

Role 
You will be responsible for ensuring existing relationships are renewed and long term customer relationships are maintained, effectively generating an overall sales growth. 

You will possess strong communication and sales abilities in order to achieve these objectives and will view consultative sales and service as the foundation of success. 

You will be a confident conversationalist who can build rapport quickly whilst at the same time, have a probing mind to ensure all of the client’s requirements are met to the highest life of customer service satisfaction. 

From handling day to day enquires, renewal preparation, cross-selling through to negotiating new contracts, working with our claims handlers to ensure a smooth customer journey and taking payments, the role provides you with incredible variety with the opportunity to understand how all areas of the business work. 

You will have a structured induction and training programme with high levels of support from the team, so a desire and drive to develop and build on your natural strengths is a must.

As a regulated industry you will need to work compliantly at all times and extensive training in all product areas, including industry recognised qualifications will be provided and co-ordinated from our Regional Offices in Stratford-Upon-Avon. 

Accountabilities
Understand the needs of the business by demonstrating an awareness of the Agency’s Business Plan and all KPIs and continually making a contribution to them in a positive manner.

Manage and organise your own workload and oversee the processing of work generated from sales, renewals, claims, compliance checks, audits and the resolution of complaints and breaches in line with performance, quality and compliance standards and timescales 

​Show commitment to Continuous Professional Development by ensuring you undertake all training as per the standards required.

​Skills, Experience and Knowledge
•    Commercial Insurance Experience
•    Demonstrable sales and customer service success 
•    Passionate about working with people in a small friendly office environment
•    Ability to co-ordinate your time effectively 
•    Superb attention to detail & drive to see a task to completion
•    Strong interest in and commitment to self-development and learning
