Brave Human Capital Group announces charity partnership with The Donna Louise Trust

At Brave Human Capital Group, we are delighted to announce our first corporate charity partnership with The Donna Louise Trust, a hospice caring for children with life limiting illnesses.

Over the course of the next year, we will be fundraising for The Donna Louise Trust in a number of ways including through events and corporate donations.

Funds raised through the partnership will be used to help provide a lifeline to hundreds of families across Staffordshire and South Cheshire who are facing every parent’s worst nightmare; the heart-breaking knowledge that they will almost certainly outlive their child.

As Staffordshire’s only hospice for children and young people, The Donna Louise Trust provide specialist care and support services for children with life-shortening conditions, due to illness or injury, whilst also supporting the whole family at both their purpose built hospice and within the families’ own home.

James Fleming, Founding Partner of Brave HCG said:

“We are committed to fundraising for an organisation that we feel passionate about and where we feel we can make a real difference. This, coupled with the fact that we have a personal link with the charity, makes this a very special partnership for Brave.”

Fundraising plans are underway, but with the current pandemic to consider, the team at Brave have had to think outside the box about how best to raise money in a safe way for all involved. It has been a really challenging year, but one where we have seen great acts of kindness and generosity towards those who need it most and we are looking forward to rising to this challenge!

Nicky Birks, Head of Income Generation & Partnerships said of the Partnership:

“We’re really looking forward to working with Brave HCG, they already have some brilliant fundraising ideas and we’re excited to help them get started on their fundraising journey. We’re so grateful that they’ve chosen to support The Donna Louise and make a difference to the children and families who rely on the services of the Hospice. Like so many charities across the country, it’s been a tough year for The Donna Louise, so we’re really grateful for the wonderful support we continue to receive from the business community, despite the challenging economic environment.”
